Well Red Companion App
The Duo Coronet comes with an Android app, which is available free at the Google Play Store.
To make the App work, you need access to an Android device with a reliable Bluetooth connection.
You do not need the app to use the Duo Coronet but it can be extremely handy.
Using the app, you can change settings, and of course, you can easily revert back to normal:
Halve the power for each wavelength. For teenagers, half-power is a good approach.
Change the two-wavelength setting to 670nm only (and revert back). This can be useful for some health conditions.
Shine lights only on the left side of the head (and revert back). This is extremely useful for people who have had a stroke or a brain injury involving speech.
Shine lights only on the right side of the head (and revert back). This is useful for people who have had right sided head trauma.
Change the pulse rate of the near infrared 810nm to 10Hz.
Special settings. We can provide codes to make specific changes that are important in individual situations. The code is entered through the app. Contact us for more information.
The app is the way we can make changes to the settings (location of lights, wavelengths, power, duration), for people whose medical conditions or age require a non-standard light setting.
You do not need the app for the Duo Coronet for normal everyday use. Just put it on and plug it in.
